Delight in the beauty and serenity of the oldest lands in the world on a Wooleen Station guided eco-sunset tour.
Our tour includes the Nationally important wetland Wooleen Lake, seasonal wildflowers, aboriginal heritage, ecology, biodiversity, colonial history, and spectacular outcrops.
Learn how the Pollock family are now working towards making Wooleen an ecologically sustainable enterprise.
Whilst the glass-in-hand sunset is always spectacular, the tour is truly focused on our commitment to land rehabilitation, understanding the pastoral estate and the possibilities of the future. You’ll learn about the longevity of our arid plants, their palatability and indicators, the importance of apex predators and why food security and sustainability are so important for our future.
Sunset tours finish with sunset drinks and nibbles on a granite outcrop.
Tours are subject to availability and minimum numbers and therefore do not run every day. Sometimes urgent tasks arise on the station and animal welfare must take precedent. Be assured we will do everything we can to try and get you on a Wooleen tour.
Wooleen Station sunset tour costs $65 per person per tour.
