Minimum 3 Month Stay
We are currently seeking help to run our Station Stay business at Wooleen Station.
Wooleen is located 700kms north of Perth in the Outback and is an award winning tourism business. We offer various forms of accommodation including Hosted Homestead Stays, self-contained guesthouses and a range of camping options. The property is 375,000 acres in stunning red dirt country.
We are looking for individuals interested in becoming part of our team. Frances and David are a young couple running this business and include all staff as part of the family. We have 3 friendly dogs, chickens, a large vegetable patch and a HUGE back yard to explore.
Guests who come to our business are treated more like friends and we offer a very personal experience. We are looking for help with cleaning our facilities (homestead, guesthouses and camp-ground) food preparation and cooking, washing (dish and laundry), chatting with guests plus all other task that come with running a business. Other work can include vegetable garden maintenance and gardening if interested.
'Service with a Smile' training is compulsory but will be provided to the successful applicant upon arrival at the station. You will then have this certificate to take on to future jobs. Hospitality/tourism experience and passion is essential for this role as we spend a lot of time with our customers. We have a Wooleen uniform - this is not compulsory but certainly better if worn most days.

This job is particularly suited to backpackers looking to gain their 2nd year working holiday visa. We have 7 years experience hosting travelers and have successfully signed many visa forms. This job is more about the experience of working on a Station and experiencing busy outback life. Its an experience you wont forget.
We can supply ALL meals, amenities and accommodation. You wont have any expenses. Meals are excellent quality (the same as the tourists eat) all homemade and some home grown. Half of the nights we also eat desert. At the end of 88 days we can send you with some pocket money.
Preferably non-smoking and no difficult dietary requirements.

2019 Rates:
$249 Single Occupancy per night (1 person)
$419 Double/Twin share per night (2 people)
$160 Children Under the age of 12 per night
Tariff includes dinner, bed, and breakfast daily.
Stays of 2 or more nights also include daily lunch (drinks and tours are an extra charge).
Seven guest bedrooms (King, Queen or Twin) with three shared bathroom facilities.

Wooleen Station homestead can accommodate up to 16 people. However, to ensure you have the best experience possible we refrain from accepting bookings of up to 10 pax at any one time. If your requirements exceed this limit for a special event or function, please contact us as for options.
Wooleen Station is pleased to offer the use of two fully renovated guest bathrooms at the homestead.
