Peddling through the bush would have to be one of the best ways to experience the vast outback.

You can sneak up on the wildlife before they notice you whilst immersing yourself in the outback landscape.

The Wooleen trails take guests on bike and foot into parts of the station not accessible by car with spectacular views, amazing scenery and plenty of fresh air.

Stop at the ‘halfway’ viewing points and gaze out over this ancient landscape whilst enjoying morning tea or a picnic lunch. Enjoy a bit of bird watching and photography whilst you're at it!

Wooleen has two Mountain Bike trails, each trail can be lengthened, shortened or combined to suit your needs and skill level.

Guests are welcome to bring their own bikes, but we recommend good puncher-proof tyres. We've found these ones to be the best.

Otherwise Wooleen has two 18 inch bikes, two 16 inch bikes and two children's bikes available.

Bikes come with helmets and can be hired for $10 an hour from the homestead.

The trails are adequately signed and come with a map.
