Moreover, our Mindfulness Retreats are limited to 8 participants to ensure you enjoy a personalised, intimate experience.

A Sanctuary for Renewal, Reflection & Reconnection

Wooleen Station, a National Trust-listed outback oasis, offers a breathtaking landscape of wide open spaces, stunning sunsets and big star-filled skies. Here, you'll find the peace and quiet to unwind and reflect. Every day offers an opportunity to immerse yourself in the landscape's natural beauty to deepen your connection to the land and renew your spirit.

The retreat provides an immersive and transformative experience designed to help you explore all of life’s interconnectedness. Belinda McCawley from Mindful in Nature will guide you through activities, such as nature journalling and forest bathing, and reflective practices to facilitate a profound reconnection with nature and help foster a sense of responsibility towards the planet.

Nourishment for Body and Soul

Enjoy delicious home-style cooking with locally-sourced ingredients to compliment your rejuvenation journey. Dinner is a special occasion in the formal dining room, enjoyed by soft candlelight. After the evening meal, take part in evening sky meditations, reflect on your experiences or forge lasting connections with fellow retreat participants.

Immerse yourself in station life at the Homestead where you’ll share life with owners David and Frances Pollock. The 1918 historic home features 7 spacious Edwardian-style bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and is surrounded by wide colonial verandas. The lush gardens provide an oasis in the middle of the 134,000ha property.

Conservation at Heart

At Wooleen Station, conservation is more than a commitment; it’s a way of life. Hosts David and Frances Pollock have dedicated themselves to restoring and preserving the natural ecosystem, ensuring birdlife and wildlife will thrive for generations to come. By choosing to visit Wooleen Station, you’re not only reconnecting with nature and yourself but you’re also supporting crucial conservation efforts.

You’ll have an opportunity to join a Guided Sunset Tour to see and hear about the nationally important wetland Wooleen Lake, seasonal wildflowers, Aboriginal heritage and our vast biodiversity. The Pollocks are committed to land rehabilitation working towards an ecologically sustainable enterprise. You’ll also learn about the importance of Australia’s apex predator by interacting with Wooleen’s two dingoes, Eulalia and Steven, during a Dingo Encounter.
